Discover Our Luxury Chalets in St Anton

St. Anton ski resort, often hailed as the "cradle of alpine skiing," holds a special place in our hearts. Nestled in the Tyrolean Alps within Austria’s Arlberg region, this iconic resort is revered for its exceptional snow conditions and world-class off-piste opportunities. Known for its cult status among both advanced skiers and party-goers, St. Anton consistently ranks among the top five ski resorts for a luxury ski holiday in the Alps, offering an unmatched blend of thrilling slopes and a vibrant après-ski culture. Whether you're planning a full week on the slopes or a spontaneous ski weekend in St Anton, our portfolio of luxury accommodation offers something for every group and every occasion.

Where to Stay on your St Anton Ski Holiday

Despite its expansion over the years, St Anton has managed to preserve its authentic Tyrolean charm. The resort's heart is the pedestrianised Dorfstrasse, lined with hotels, shops, bars, and restaurants. St Anton chalets are typically situated a bit further out, with some of the most opulent rentals located in the Nasserein neighbourhood.

Ideal for corporate gatherings, wedding parties, or family reunions, The Lodge @ 47 is just a two-minute walk from the Nasserein ski lift. Another popular choice for large groups is Chalet Eden Rock. Although slightly further from the lift, Chalet Lena and Chalet Artemis are two of our favourite catered chalets in St Anton.

St Anton’s reputation as one of Austria’s great ski resorts precedes it. Its magnificent ski area, short transfer time from Innsbruck, and charming, walkable centre filled with shops and cafés have earned it a loyal following of keen skiers and party-goers.

What Sets St Anton Ski Resort Apart?

The History of St Anton:

St. Anton am Arlberg, often hailed as the cradle of alpine skiing, rose to fame through the pioneering work of Hannes Schneider, who developed the "Arlberg technique" and founded the first ski school in the 1920s. The region's ski tourism began in the 19th century, but it truly flourished in the 20th century with Schneider's innovations and the advent of ski lifts.

Today, St Anton is celebrated as one of Europe’s snowiest ski areas, offering an impressive 305 km of prepared pistes and numerous patrolled itineraries, making it a top destination for off-piste skiing enthusiasts. As part of the expansive Arlberg ski area, St Anton ski resort is connected to the resorts of Lech, Zürs, St Christoph, Warth and Schröcken, providing a diverse range of terrain to explore.

St Anton is one of my personal favourites for its energy and charm. The sheer variety of the terrain here is incredible, from the legendary Valluga runs to hidden off-piste gems that make every day an adventure. After a day on the slopes, the atmosphere in town is unbeatable. There’s nothing quite like ending the afternoon at MooserWirt or Krazy Kanguruh!
