Discover Our Luxury Chalets in Courchevel Le Praz

Located at 1,300 metres, Courchevel Le Praz is the most traditional and authentic of the Courchevel villages. Unlike the glamour of Courchevel 1850, this charming Courchevel Le Praz ski resort offers a more peaceful Alpine experience with cobbled streets, wooden chalets and a warm, village atmosphere. From here, the modern Le Praz gondola provides direct access to Courchevel 1850 and the wider Three Valleys ski area, ensuring exceptional skiing with all the charm of a mountain hamlet.

I’ve always preferred to stay further down the valley in more affordable Courchevel Moriond or Le Praz, which are smaller in scale and have much more of a village atmosphere.

What Sets Courchevel Le Praz Apart?

Courchevel Le Praz Ski Area

Courchevel Le Praz ski resort offers direct access to the vast Three Valleys ski area, which boasts over 600 km of interconnected pistes. While quieter than its higher-altitude neighbours, it provides all the essentials for a perfect ski holiday in Courchevel Le Praz - from ski hire and mountain guides to local restaurants serving Savoyard specialities.

Despite its lower altitude, Le Praz is a fantastic choice for families and beginners. While it may not have the same abundance of beginner slopes as Courchevel 1850, it offers a quieter and more laid-back environment, which is perfect for families with young children or if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts.

For skiers and snowboarders looking to maximize their budget without sacrificing access to one of the world’s most famous ski areas, Le Praz offers an ideal balance of affordability, charm, and convenience.
