Hannes Schneider was a pioneer of Alpine skiing and his skiing technique has a huge influence on the sport up to the present time. He was born in House no. 14 in Stuben and the House bears evidence of Hannes Schneider’s love of skiing. From the Albona ski area of Zürs guests can ski back to the House, and the closest ski lift is just a minute’s walk away. This 400 m² refurbished chalet, spread over four floors, comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests in seven bedrooms. For relaxation, you have a choice between the cinema room and the spa. Valet parking is provided. Being in a pedestrian area, all cars will be parked in a garage close to the chalet.
The living area has vintage wood paneling, a roaring fire and hunting trophies with touches of modern design. Beautiful glassware, delicate lighting and valuable pieces of art enhance the lounge and the stairwell. The open plan living area also includes a fully-equipped open Gaggenau kitchen and the dining table seating up to 16 guests.
Downstairs is another preparation kitchen as well as storage and laundry rooms, and the boot and ski room.
After a day on the slopes, in fresh powder or on the groomed pistes of the Lech-Zürs ski region, you can come home to House Hannes Schneider and simply relax: enjoy the sauna or a steam bath in the wellness area; appreciate a glass of wine or a mug of delicious hot chocolate in the relaxation area of the spa.
Apart from unwinding in the spa, there is more than enough fun activities on offer: from watching a movie on the big screen in the cinema room to a play area especially for the children.
Perfectly suited to families or groups of friends, House Hannes Schneider can accommodate up to 16 guests in seven bedrooms spread across the first and second floors. Each of the bedrooms has a modern en-suite bathroom with a bathtub as well as a shower. One of the double bedrooms has two additional single beds on a gallery level, making it perfect for a family. Apple TV is available in all the bedrooms and each bedroom has either a separate study area or a desk in the bedroom. A further en-suite bedroom is on the lower ground level next to the spa, ideal for a nanny or teenagers.
