Alpine Retreat occupies a secluded plot in L’Élé, on the sunny side of the valley between Morzine and Montriond. Trees surround the property and an alpine stream runs nearby, yet the centre of Montriond is only a short walk away.
The chalet is arranged over three floors, with its main living space on the middle level. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in views across the valley and open onto the terrace, while a glass-fronted fireplace separates the main seating area from a smaller television corner.
The dining table sits beside the windows, with the mountain backdrop visible throughout meals. Alongside it, the contemporary kitchen has a central island and ample space for guests to cook together. An integrated Sonos system runs through the living area.
The five bedrooms are all en-suite and arranged across the ground and upper floors. Four can be configured as doubles or twins, giving families and groups of friends useful flexibility. The ground-floor room has floor-to-ceiling windows and two pull-out children’s beds, while one of the upstairs bedrooms includes a wall-mounted television and a collection of games.
Outside, a terrace and garden provide space to enjoy the chalet’s wooded surroundings. The outdoor hot tub overlooks the valley, with a firepit nearby for evenings outside. There is also an outdoor pool, perfect for a refreshing dip in the warmer months.
The converted garage now serves as a ski room and gym, with boot warmers and direct access to the outside. A separate utility room provides laundry facilities.
