Set on the mountainside in Les Encoches, Chalet Griffonner offers a quieter base within easy reach of Morzine’s centre and the Portes du Soleil ski area. The chalet was built in 2021 and has a modern alpine style, with large windows, clean lines and wide views across the valley towards the Pleney slopes.
Arranged over four floors, the chalet has been designed to make the most of its outlook. The living and dining area sits on an upper level, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame the lights of Morzine below. Sofas are gathered around the fireplace, while the dining area and well-equipped kitchen create an easy space for relaxed evenings at the chalet.
Doors open onto a wrap-around deck, giving guests space for a morning coffee, après-ski drinks or outdoor dining in warmer weather. The hot tub sits on a separate deck, providing a private place to unwind after skiing.
Chalet Griffonner sleeps eight guests across four en-suite bedrooms. The master suite occupies the top floor, with wrap-around windows, balcony access, a sitting area, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. Two further bedrooms are located on the floor below, including one with a private balcony, while the fourth bedroom sits on the ground floor. All four bedrooms can be configured as doubles or twins.
For evenings in, the chalet has a cinema room as well as a spa area with sauna, shower and treatment room. Practical facilities include a ski room with heated boot and glove racks, a laundry room and driveway parking for two cars.

Location & Access
- Chalet Griffonner is set above the centre of Morzine in Les Encoches. The position gives the chalet more privacy and open views, but for quick access to the ski lifts and village centre, guests will need a car or driver service. The Super Morzine lift is walkable (10-12-minute walk) for skiing if you leave your equipment at a local shop in town.
