Set within the Les Barmes des Mossettes development, Penthouse Mathilde is arranged over two floors. Its location is one of its main advantages, with the Super Morzine lift, Pléney gondola and Morzine’s restaurants and shops all within walking distance.

What sets Penthouse Mathilde apart is the attention given to the interiors, with pieces by Timothy Oulton, wall coverings by Inkiostro Bianco and artwork by Steve McCurry and Dave White.

The main living space sits on the upper level, where floor-to-ceiling windows bring in plenty of natural light and frame views over the village and surrounding mountains.

The sitting room is centred around a feature fireplace, with the dining area and kitchen close by. The kitchen and living area are relatively compact, but comfortable and sociable for a small group.

Just off the main sitting room, a separate bar and mezzanine area gives guests another place to sit with a drink or enjoy a quieter moment away from the main room. Outside, the wraparound balcony extends the living space, with a six-seat hot tub and several seating areas for taking in the views.

Penthouse Mathilde sleeps up to eight adults and one child across four bedrooms. Three bedrooms are on the lower level, while one sits on the upper level close to the living space. One bedroom includes a single bunk above the double bed, making it best suited to a child.

1 king-size double bedroom with balcony access and separate bathroom (bathtub, twin washbasins and WC)

Good to Know

Space & Layout:

Bedroom four is located on the top floor and has an en-suite WC, but guests staying in this room will need to use the bathroom downstairs.
Private parking is available for 2 cars.

Location & Access:

Everything is on your doorstep; there’s a good-sized convenience store almost next door and one of our favourite restaurants – La Chaudanne – is opposite the apartment building and we would recommend visiting at least once during your stay.
